BURIAL OPTIONS

In-Ground Traditional Burials
Evergreen offers in-ground burial gravesites for traditional or casket interment.  Choose from hundreds of standard gravesites located throughout the cemetery.  Each grave can accommodate both a full-casket and a cremation or urn burial.  There are even sites available in the historic, original blocks on the south side.

In-Ground Cremation Burials
Evergreen offers in-ground cremation inurnment.  Standard gravesites can accommodate up to two urns.   There is also a block in the cemetery in which the graves are half the size of standard graves.  These graves can also accommodate two urns and are offered at a discounted cost.  All in-ground urn burials require the use of a cultured marble urn/vault or the cremated remains must be encased in an urn vault.

Above Ground Cremation Burials
An above ground urn inurnment option currently exists if the family purchases a private columbarium as their memorial marker.  A private columbarium is erected as the headstone and contains niches for the inurnment of the cremated remains.  A private family columbarium can be obtained and installed by a licensed monument company.

The Cemetery Board of Trustees has approved the future construction of a multi-niche columbarium.   We expect completion of the new Columbarium to be done by summer or early fall 2025.

Grave Location Assistance
Please email the office to obtain grave location information.  We are able to send maps to assist in locating grave(s) here on the cemetery grounds.

Records & Genealogy Research
Evergreen’s Cemetery Manager can assist families in obtaining genealogical information and provide copies of historical records.  Requests should be submitted via email.

Veteran Headstone, Marker & Medallion Information
Evergreen’s Cemetery Manager can assist families in completing the paperwork to obtain these from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
